Shawan Harris is our OfficeManager. She has been with our family since July, 2002. Please feel free to direct any concerns or comments to Shawan. Her door is always open and all comments are taken seriously.

Receptionist & Billing Department
You will see many of the same faces as you visit our office. Most of our staff has been with us for many years and have watched your children grow from infancy to young adults. The staff at Pediatric Kid-med strives to make sure that you have the best experience possible. We are here to help with scheduling, insurance, and in any way that we can. If your child has an urgent need, please tell us when you call so that we can accommodate you accordingly.
Nursing
Each of our nursing staff members are prepared to provide comprehensive Medical Care. All of our patients from premature babies just getting out of the NICU to Well Babies just leaving the hospital to children and adolescents. All of our nurses work together as a team to handle whatever may come into the office. Our nurses are able to answer any questions or concerns that a parent may have regarding their children or child, in the office, or on the phone. They work closely with the doctors and have many task throughout the day. Our nurses help parents on educating them on shots, immunizations or whatever is needed that day. The nurses works with the parents, once called into the room they will triage the child, do ht, wt, temp and whatever is needed before the doctor comes in. All the nurses are very capable of doing whatever is needed no matter what their title is. They do from triage from the beginning once called to the exam room, referrals to the specialist where the patient needs to go, to even making the appointment for them the nursing staff also do some lab work, fills out forms, from day care to school physicals or any other forms brought in the office.
